Strong and vital arms are an important part of synagogue life.

Men's Club

Life at the shul wouldn't be the same without the Men's Club. Whether distributing our Passover wine, building our sukkah, or helping with the Purim carnival, they make their presence felt through their good deeds. It's not all work, as the men enjoy a breakfast each month with interesting guest speakers, run a highly successful bowling league, host a golf outing in October and much more. To learn more call Larry Josephs on 732-617-8347 or Steve Solomon on 732-577-7680.  Click here for a listing of upcoming Men's Club events and to order Passover Wine.

Sisterhood

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month in the main building at 8:00 p.m.  If you would like any information or would like to join, call Rhoda Danzinger on 732-536-3787 or Ruth Nadler on 732-577-9540.

Sisterhood also sells scrip money.  Scrip money is purchased at Pathmark, Foodtown and Shop-Rite by Sisterhood at a 5% discount.  We then sell it at full price.  The advantage to Sisterhood is that we profit on the 5%.  The advantage to your buying scrip money is not only your tax-deductible contribution to the Sisterhood but also the convenience of always having "cash" on you at the supermarket.

Visit our new Sisterhood Boutique in the main building and a showcase in the Chai Building.  There are beautiful items, including Judaica items, at discount prices.

Prime Timers

They say life begins at 50 and that's certainly true for our Prime Timers. If you have the strength, try to keep pace as this active group goes on countless trips to shows, cultural destinations, and overnight getaways. There are no "Regular Meetings," as creative programs make each get together special. Call Phoebe Dichner, President, at 732-536-5128.

Second Generation

Our Second Generation Arm is dedicated to preserving the memory of the events of the Holocaust. This is done in a number of ways, including services each year commemorating Kristallnacht, Yom HaShoah, as well as our efforts to dedicate a permanent Holocaust memorial on our premises. Call Marvin Glickstein, President, at 732-972-0259.
