The Social Action committee is proud to have won a gold award for its programming from both the United Synagogue (“Schechter Award”) and from the NJ Region of United Synagogue (“Gliken Award”). The Social Action committee has involved scores of people from every demographic group of the synagogue and has brought together congregants with each other, and with other synagogues, Jewish agencies, houses of worship in Marlboro, and non-denominational groups.

Some highlights of our programs include:

• Annual Kil Nidre Food Drive – collects over a ton of food
• Semi-Annual Blood Drive
• Turkey Drop
• Making of Shabbat Videotapes for Shut-Ins
• Passover Programs (Delivering Food, Seder Hospitality, and more)

Our Social Action newsletter is published quarterly and also won recognition from the Schechter and Gliken committees.
